Common Mental Health Symptoms I Treat

What People Are Saying

  • I came to Kelli feeling burnt out related to my healing process and anxious about some of the things that were still lingering. In one intensive EMDR session with her, a long held limiting belief completely dissipated. She connected the dots for me in ways that years of therapy and insight hadn’t, and the somatic element of her therapeutic work, I believe, literally moved it out of my body, not just my head. I left that session relating to a lifelong anxiety in a completely new way. Kelli is warm and kind but also has a lot of depth, which allows for a really beautiful therapeutic experience. Highly recommend her.

  • Kelli has truly been a game changer for my mental health. She has such a unique and compassionate approach to healing through EMDR. I’ve lived with CPTSD/OCD for a long time and have tried many forms of therapy, but working with Kelli has been unlike anything I’ve experienced before. The skill, care, and presence she brings to her work have made a profound impact on my healing journey and genuinely changed my life.

  • Kelli was absolutely incredible. I saw her doing a time where I was struggling with some CPTSD flashbacks and burn out from work that related to some of my flashbacks. She helped me understand my nervous system and regulate in a way that I feel is incredible. She is the best. I tell everyone to go see her If you’re thinking about EMDR, you should. I am someone that dealt with a lot of trauma growing up and went through many modes of therapy as a teenager. I wish someone was doing EMDR then. Life-changing!

When you’ve done the talking. Now it’s time to feel different. Clients come to me when they are ready to move to the next phase of healing.

You understand your patterns. You’ve talked about what happened. Maybe you’ve even tried therapy before. But knowing why you feel the way you do hasn’t necessarily helped you feel better.

If you’re ready for something different, EMDR Intensives offer a focused way to work with what’s keeping you stuck—so you can begin to feel different, not just understand yourself better.

What is EMDR therapy and how does it work?

1

EMDR therapy is an evidence-based treatment that helps your brain process and resolve traumatic memories that are stuck. It uses bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements or tapping, while you hold a memory in mind, enabling your nervous system to process the trauma without detailed verbal recounting.

What's the difference between EMDR and Somatic EMDR?

2

The difference between EMDR and Somatic EMDR is that Somatic EMDR incorporates body-based awareness in addition to memory and cognition work. This approach addresses trauma stored in the nervous system, such as tension and chronic activation, making it especially effective for those with ongoing bodily symptoms after trauma.

Who is a good fit for Somatic EMDR?

Somatic EMDR works well for adults dealing with PTSD, complex trauma (CPTSD), anxiety, burnout, attachment wounds, grief, and chronic stress. It's particularly suited for high-functioning people who understand their patterns intellectually but can't seem to shift them — because the work happens at the level of the nervous system, not just the mind.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of EMDR sessions needed depends on trauma complexity: single-incident trauma may require fewer sessions, while complex or developmental trauma needs longer treatment. Somatic EMDR intensives provide faster progress with longer sessions over fewer days.
