About Kelli Lane Redfield, LMFT

I’m Kelli Lane Redfield, LMFT, a somatic and narrative-based trauma therapist helping adults and couples move from emotional reactivity and loneliness to deeper connection and calm. I blend EMDR, somatic integration, and relational life therapy to help you release old pain and reconnect with your body’s wisdom. My style is real, collaborative, and grounded in empathy — sometimes gentle, sometimes direct, always curious.

If you’re a creative, high performer, or someone who feels “too much,” you’re in the right place.

I offer in-person therapy in North County San Diego Downtown Escondido at a Holistic Wellness Center. Let’s get curious about your story, heal the patterns that keep you stuck, and build the life and relationships you actually want.

I have worked with severe mental health and in co-occurring treatment centers in San Diego for years, where I was trained in EMDR to handle some of the worst trauma cases in the US. I worked with PTSD, BPD, Anxiety, Depression, OCD, Grief, Depression, Bipolar disorders, caregiver burnout, and ADHD/neurodiversity. I work with adults only.

I run an inclusive practice and am an ally to all identities. My style is attuned and warm, often being described as having “calming and wise vibes.” As a middle-aged woman, I have had many careers and lives before starting therapy in my later life. I have a soft spot for my clients and love to find what makes them giggle. I identify as an artist and creative at heart, and is a family-comes-first type of Leo Mom.

A modern approach: Join an online support group.

I may only have a few slots during the week, but if I have a waitlist, you can always join our recovery community. These are the people who’ve done the work and need support from those who know what it’s like to be on a healing journey.

Perimenopause and Relational Distress

If you are in Perimenopause or Menopause (Late 30s-40s,50s,60s), and you are experiencing increasing problems in your relationship with you partner or spouse, you are not alone. Enter GREY DIVORCE - 40% of all Divorces are after 50 years old! This number triples after 65 years old, and the average length of marriages are 29 years long.

Seeing a professional before you give up on the marriage and getting more educated on why you are wanting to divorce can save your marriage or help you feel less alone.

When women are in the transition out of having their period, they often see symptoms in mood and irritability during this change. You may also see changes in your body. Maybe you’ve stopped sleeping, we have a multi-functional team at my Escondido office to help trouble shoot your new and difficult symptoms. You may have noticed a change in temperature or sexual desire, all of these things put together can be a sign that you are dealing with more than just mental health.

I have taken additional training to help you understand what is going on with your body and help you find the help you need with Drs., Naturopaths, and nutritionists.
